I have been studying astrology since 1992. I had dabbled in it before that time, but really got into it when my second husband came into my life. He had done a compatibility chart between us so he knew our relationship would be Ok. However, I needed to see that. It was then that I really became interested in astrology because what I read helped me enormously with our relationship in the very beginning. I then was literally led and guided by my own intuition and by Spirit to learning about the subject.

In the beginning I studied all the signs many times. Each book I read from gave me a different perspective on the people’s charts I was looking at. I found it a fascinating subject and could not understand why more people did not know about it and how it could help them in their daily lives. In the beginning I studied the sun signs, then the houses, then the ascendant and midheaven, and then the aspects. It took a number of years – ten in fact – to understand them all and have a working knowledge of them. I did not study intensely – just the way Spirit taught me, and mainly on a spiritual/metaphysical level. I do not have a lot of left brain function so it had to be very easy to understand and Spirit made it that way.

For me, the most profound subject within the astrology field is the compatibility chart between two people. It enabled me to understand not only my children and my relationship with them, but also how we related together. It certainly enabled me to see where we needed to work out our differences and was invaluable in helping me to understand both of my children in my life as well as the daughter I gave away for adoption.
