It is so hard trying not to influence anyone and allow people to make their own decisions. Alan and I are very alike – born two days apart, both Libras. Our lives mirror for each other in all we have done with our lives despite Alan being 9 years younger than me. I would say that 80% of our lives are lived believing in the same things, but there is a 20% part of us which is very different in what we believe in and the way we deal with it. Thankfully, most of the time we are OK with that, but sometimes we do not agree and beg to disagree! I have learned from Maitreya and from being with Alan that, the more I try to change him to my belief, the harder he fights.
Oh, if only parents could see that this is a very important factor in raising children – especially teenagers. I must say here though that, when my children were teenagers, I did not interfere with their belief system in anything. My son became a Christian despite my being metaphysical. I never interfered with his doing this, and despite the fact that he tried to influence me to go back to the church, I never influenced or criticized him in any way to give up his beliefs. Eventually he, like most people, moved on to another truth – away from Christianity – but he did it on his own without influence from me or anyone else for that matter.
Parents are the worst people for interfering. As an astrologer, I know that each person is here to work out their own life path. Nobody can be the same – even twins, triplets, quads, etc. Although they have the same chart (often an identical one), they are so different from each other, both of them being different personalities and with different ways of learning their life lessons.

The hardest lesson I have had to learn in raising my vibration is that each man/woman has their own truth, and we cannot change that truth no matter what we do or try. They have to change it and they cannot do so unless they are ready. As a child growing up, I had the truth of my parents and I lived that truth in fear, even if I thought something different, put it into action, and went against their truth. As I entered the workforce and left the home environment, I began to see another truth from those around me. This made the fear even worse because, I not only understood their truth, but found that it was my truth in a way. Then I married and took on 80% of my husband’s truth – while, of course, still battling the “real” truth of childhood and teenage years. I had children and, from talking to other mothers, found another truth. And so it continued through my life, experience after experience.
Then Maitreya came into my life and shattered my belief in truth by telling me that there is no truth because one man’s truth is another man’s folly. In other words, each person has their own truth, and as such, there is no correct answer. What I saw as truth was not someone else’s truth. He also explained to me that I cannot change their truth. I could try, but if they were not ready to change, nothing I could do would enable change in that person. Until then I had spent years trying to change people – from my days of being a Christian and wanting to educate people about Jesus, to my wanting to educate people about metaphysics, I had not managed to change anyone, yet I still persisted in trying to do so.

It also amazes me how many people are in a job they hate, yet rather than open a new door they continue on in the job they are in and eventually have health problems because they are not at ease in their career. Rather than open a door to begin to study a new career if they have not done so already (and most have not), they plod along until eventually they create dis-ease, then full blown disease within themselves. I have actually seen people die because they would not make the changes they were capable of, all due to fear.
I am finally living my life’s purpose. I must say also that you are never too old to change. I had a 67-year old friend who had always wanted to do healing. Her astrological chart showed this was her true destiny. She had been a mother and grandmother but never worked. One day she came to classes I was teaching and learned how to heal. She found that she had (as I felt) a natural talent for healing and began using it part time. It gave her so much happiness to do this, and I know it kept her young and healthy. She is now almost 90 and still healing. I know she will make it to 100 and still be healing.
Are you unhappy in your career or job? Are you doing what you came here to do? You do not have to give up your job or career to open a new door. This can be done casually or part time in study and in working it (before one builds up a clientele) and then give up the old work one is doing. In closing, I wish to say that Maitreya, my teacher, taught me the fact that happiness is ours to create. Spirit does not do this for us – we do it. When we find our life purpose, we find our passion, and then one is truly happy. So many people never find their passion or their life destiny, and it is such a shame because they bring themselves around for another incarnation just as I did. I am so glad I found what mine is and that I am fulfilling it. Not only that, but I am truly happy in what I do. So many people tell me that I work so hard, but I do not feel that I do. It is not work for me; it is my true destiny and passion.

I had no idea who I would become as I was growing up. I had no confidence in myself (which was one of the traits of the person I had been in that past life). I lied profusely in my teens which, I discovered, was another trait of hers I had brought back with me. Thankfully, at the age of 16 I was caught-out in my lying, and it was the last time I did it, but I had brought it with me from that past life. My weight was another carry through, but I knew it was because of carrying the energy which I needed to work with Maitreya, so I could not change that. I had been a Leo in that life and, as such, was very dramatic and emotional over everything. In this life I chose to have my Leo energy with my Moon sign which makes me even more aware of the emotional body – far more than the Sun in Leo. I had also chosen to become emotionally detached in this life – very hard to do when one has been an Oscar winning performer in a past life!
As I read about this woman, it was as if I became her – personality-wise. I could see in my own life her past-life traits. Her reluctance to do the metaphysical work mirrored my own reluctance to do it, and also the fact that I ran away from it despite it being put in front of me for 14 years. In that past life I was supposed to have gone out into the public arena and done what I have done in this life, but I was just happy in that life to write books and have small soiree’s in my lounge room for people who wanted to be in the energy and watch and learn the magic tricks I had learned which they thought were manifestations from Spirit! The more I read the more I squirmed. I was living my life exactly the way I had done in that past life, although with different circumstances. I knew I had to change and I have changed over the last 18 years since Maitreya came into my life.

During this whole blog I have not mentioned the TV shows over the last ten years, shows such as “Medium,” “Ghost Whisperer,” and “Ghost Hunters” (the latter made to scare people rather than interest them in the other side and what happens there after we die.) Yes, there are earth-bound spirits but they cannot harm us unless we give them our fear and let them feel it within us. “Ghost Whisperer” has just finished its run, and no more shows will be made. New shows will replace the old ones and will educate people in the ways of the spirit world and they will cover past lives and other subjects. Programs on alternative healing practices will become very popular, showing how they are done and what they are. Not many of us know what cranial sacral therapy is. Well, in the future we will all know what it is.
I have said it a number of times here that it is time for change, and change is a coming! The only reason we do not know about these things already is because we have not been educated in them, and so much fear has surrounded them. In the future we will not have that fear, and more people will be using them. It makes me laugh so much at the ads for pharmaceutical drugs these days. Yes, they can cure in some people, but they can also cause kidney damage, heart problems, stroke, etc., etc. I would love to see an ad for a Bach Flower remedy: “It will gently remove old energy from the body and safely assist you to raise your vibration.” And for a chiropractor: “Will safely and surely assist you to walk again without pain and discomfort.” Advertising such as this is what I see for the future. As for the intuitive world of mediumship and channeling: “It will enable you to communicate with those who you will meet when you die and who want to assist you to a better way of living without worry and stress.” Why do I write that? Because they have done it for me and for Alan, and now it is time for us to teach others how to do it. The Photon Energy will help us to do that.

So what does the future hold? Will the metaphysical movement close down also? The answer to that is a firm, “NO!” It will become stronger, and more people will be interested in it. But it is going to change and no longer be the “angels with wings and spiritual beings in halos and white robes” which it has been until now. It is a subject designed to help you to move on from past energy, insecurities, doubts, fears, and low confidence/self esteem.
Every day I see people who come to me for readings who would not normally come to me. They want to know their life lessons, what they have come to do again, what their destiny is, and how they can fulfill that destiny. Some balk at what I give them because I ask them to face their fears by telling them what I do. Others in the energy of Maitreya finally “get it” and can finally see what they need to see to enable them to move on into their destiny.
I do believe that a lot more people are interested or will become interested in astrology in the future, and that we will see more people teaching metaphysical classes as we move forward after 2012. I have said so many times, “One does not have to sit in a Buddhist pose and hum ‘Om.’ Neither does one need to give up anything in their life such as their glass of wine or other habits if they have any. Eventually they will, like me, no longer need them. I do like a glass of wine, and often people show shock/horror that I do like to have a glass of wine, but I am not an alcoholic and I do enjoy the occasional tipple – especially after a heavy day of working. However I no longer drink alcohol to drown out any so-called sorrows or problems. I like it, but I can say “No” these days after one glass.

It is time for things to change on the earth plane, and I truly believe it is time for that change now – hence the shops, magazines, and centers closing down. For many people the last 30 years have been years of opening up to the alternative practices known as “metaphysics.” Some people have given away their faith, others have regained it. We are in a process of change, and nothing can stop it. Everyone of us is intuitive. We have, as Maitreya said, just “forgotten to rub the lamp,” and many of us do not even know we have one.
I am aware that many of the so-called metaphysical books written in the last 30 years have been inaccurate because I know about the world of Spirit. I visit it often – more times than anyone, I believe – and it is nothing like it has been pictured by many. But if it turns people toward their intuition and healing energy, it is great. I believe that eventually people will see the truth – whatever their truth is – as Maitreya has said, but we are moving forward, and it is time for a new guard. Many people believed that, if they took one flower essence or bought a crystal, it would heal them. It was the same with a lot of so-called “new age” products. Courses were held in all sorts of strangely named healing modalities, but many of those courses are not around today. Why is this? Because only the true ones stay around; it is as simple as that. Many of them were great courses, but putting them into practice was very hard for many of those who studied them. There were promises of huge incomes because of taking the courses, yet I have found very few people who have made money from metaphysical subjects. I was lucky that I did, and I created teaching centers with what I earned and was given to me. I traveled and took the energy of Maitreya around the world, opening the door for him wider and wider. Hopefully I will still do it in the future, but the times they are a changing, and it is high time for change!
