Ramblings – Final Words

So I have come to the end of this blog. Quite a lot of rambling, but I do hope you have learned something from it. We need to understand the world of Spirit as it is, not as a fairy story. I wondered why I got upset when I heard those who channel begin their channeling with “My beloved” and words to that effect. I realized that Maitreya never does that. Whenever I speak with him it is like speaking with a normal person, but the normal person I am speaking to is totally unbiased, has so much love (yet without being soppy as I say), and who has all the answers if only we will listen.

It is the same with those who write that they are the “chosen channel” of a particular Master. Nobody is chosen. We elect to work with a Master, but nobody is specially chosen to do this work. Maitreya has told me that people are not “chosen” to do this work because every soul makes its own choice and there is nothing special about being a channel. It is very hard work, takes its toll on the physical body, and contains its own lessons also. Saying that one is “chosen” to channel is like saying “I am above everyone else because I am chosen.” What a load of crap! Sorry, but I have to express that.

Anyone can be a channel, nobody is chosen, but some do choose to do it. However, the Masters will work with anyone who offers their service. Channels can be your child, your best friend, even your enemy on the earth plane. Their purpose is to help you to move on, change an idea, attitude, etc. However, as with listening to a Master, we do not want to listen much of the time. I am always wary of listening to the channeling of those who say they are chosen or who speak of “My beloved” when they channel because, to me, they are not channeling. Spirit does not and never has spoken to me like that!
